Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! A year ago, I would have never imagined that I'd be sitting here in the place that I'm at in my life. I am eternally grateful for your continued support of my life endeavors.
My name is Trevor, proud author of #1 New York Times Best Seller "Trevor's Road to College". It's a story about the truth, filled with my own personal experiences about striving for success no matter how far it may seem. At such a young age, we are all told that college is full of promise and that when you have a degree, you'll have a great job, money, you'll buy a nice house with a white picket fence. When you get older, you soon realize that what you were promised when you were 10 will never match what happens in reality. This is what I really wanted to convey to youth in my story.
In today's society, if you are not advocating for yourself and taking advantage of every opportunity that comes your way, no one else will. Make that call, give that handshake. Every action counts in the pursuit of success, and I hope that young children understand early on that they will have to work for what they want when they finish their education. Their possibilities will be endless if they have the right attitude about where they'd like to go with their lives, and I hope my book will help guide them in such a direction.
